Dear Andrea,
Very good, very good! YAY! I just returned from
an inspiring and energizing week of Laughter Yoga
Teacher Training in sunny California. I was honored to
be included in this training, with over 30 others, led
by the founder of the worldwide Laughter
Yoga movement Dr. Kataria. I am now certified to
lead and teach others to lead Laughter Yoga. What is
Laughter Yoga you ask? Well, you'll have to keep reading
to find out! I also had the opportunity to enjoy
a beautiful drive down and back to the training. I
visited with a couple of friends in California and saw
Mt. Shasta in all her glory!! What a blessing.
Beginning
with this newsletter I am experimenting with a few
things. One is having less text in the email and linking
to my web site. Please feel free to give feedback on the
changes! Enjoy! Ha! HA! HAAA!

| What is Laughter Yoga? |
"I like
nonsense -- it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a
necessary ingredient in living. Its a way of looking at
life through the wrong end of a telescope...and that
enables you to laugh at all of lifes
realities." ~ Theodor Seuss Geisel (AKA
Dr. Seuss)
Laughter Yoga
is a unique new physical activity where anyone can learn
to laugh for no reason at all! It is a perfect blend of
playful, empowering and otherwise "tension-releasing"
laughter exercises. These are interspersed with gentle
yogic breathing and stretching exercises, rhythmic
clapping and chanting of Ho Ho Ha Ha Ha in unison.
Anybody can laugh for 15-20 minutes
without a sense of humor, jokes or comedy. In Laughter
Yoga, we use laughter as a tool, not an emotion. Through
group activity and eye contact simulated laughter
exercises quickly become real, contagious and
enthusiastic laughter. Continue |

Through
health, life-style coaching and laughter my goal is to
help clients realize their emotional, spiritual and
physical potential so they can experience life in joy. I
am the founder of Soaring Eagle Wellness, a holistic
health and wellness practice in Portland, Oregon. The
business is dedicated to my late husband, Jeff Anderson,
who died due to complications from Lupus. My ultimate
vision is to transform the way traditional medicine
treats patients with auto-immune diseases. It is my
belief that by taking into account the body-mind as a
whole and addressing the role of diet, stress and
emotions the body can often heal
itself. |
